Cast your minds back to awards season and you’ll remember one actor in particular stole the limelight. Saltburn’s bath water slurper Barry Keoghan had a lovely old time of it, wearing everything from an all-red Louis Vuitton two piece to cream sleeveless vests – anything but a boring old black tux.
There was one constant, though: the Irishman wore cheap replica Omega watches (or three if you were counting at the Met Gala last month). So it’s not altogether surprising he’s landed the rare honour – bestowed upon the likes of George Clooney, Daniel Craig and Jonathan Bailey – of being announced as an ambassador for high quality Omega replica watches.
To mark the occasion, Omega has dropped a pair of new Speedmaster Moonwatch two-tone pieces, which only serve to add yet more proof of the Speedy’s status (moon landing history and all) being the most sought-after chronograph fake watches for sale in the world.
Calling these newbies bi-colour versions, Keoghan has gone with the more classic looking of the two – wearing the stainless steel one with 18K Moonshine Gold subdials. The other, arguably more striking Swiss made copy watches comes in stainless steel too but the dial is 18K Sedna Gold and the subdials are black, and both are on bracelets and both boast a Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861 that is to thank for keeping them so accurate, and therefore Keoghan on time in the future.
Keoghan’s stylist Ilaria Urbinati tells us that the AAA best Omega replica watches he wore to the Golden Globes was the one that cemented his love for the legendary Swiss watchmaker. It was a Seamaster Aqua Terra 34mm Sedna Gold, decorated in over 400 diamonds and rubies, or in Urbinati’s words, “that “blingy ass Omega he’s particularly obsessed with.
“There’s a real love story between him and that watch,” Urbinati continued. “It couldn’t have been more perfect with the look he had on, but he wants to wear it with everything.”
For now, he’s hooked on luxury UK super clone Omega Speedmaster Moonwatches, which bodes the question: just like Clooney and Craig, when will we spot Barry Keoghan rocking a MoonSwatch? Surely, only time will tell.
